The Ghana Tourism Authourity (GTA) under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts presents “Taste 69@69” highlighting the nation’s diverse cultural heritage. 

The event will take place on Friday and Saturday, March 13-14, 2026, at the National Theatre in Accra. Bringing together key stakeholders from the tourism and creative arts sector, the food festival will feature 69 traditional Ghanaian dishes, symbolizing the country’s 69th Independence celebration. 

There will also be a live celebrity cooking competition which will feature well-known figures from Ghana’s creative arts sector. The Taste 69 @ 69 Food Fair forms part of the broader Black Star Experience initiative, a strategic effort to position Ghana as the Gateway to Africa. 

Through such cultural showcases, the GTA and its partners continue to promote Ghana’s rich traditions, vibrant hospitality, and diverse heritage, ensuring the country remains a top destination on the global tourism map.
