Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey, Deputy CEO (Marketing and Special Duties) of the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), has recently been seen interacting with several high-profile personalities, including the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, in South Africa.
In a new video shared on his X platform, the Deputy CEO is seen exchanging pleasantries with the revered traditional ruler during the celebration of Ghana’s 69th Independence Day in Pretoria, South Africa, on March 6, 2026.

Abeiku, who is widely known for his humility, captioned the video with a heartfelt message reflecting on his journey. According to him, it was both humbling and refreshing when His Majesty, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, publicly acknowledged how far he has come since they first met in 1999.

Quoting Abeiku, he wrote: “It was humbling and refreshing for His Majesty The King , Otumfour Osei Tutu II , The Asantehene mentioned in public how far I have come since He met me in 1999. “If a child humbles himself , he eats and dine with kings “ service with humility.”
